EFFORTLESS MEDITATION

Sunday May 9 we will sponsor a teaching on Effortless Meditation led by Mike Connors. Mike will be teaching at Wisdoms Goldenrod in Hector, NY Friday night and Saturday, and then come to Endicott to join us Sunday. I met Mike in Raleigh last fall when we both were teaching at the Self Inquiry Group retreat. I am delighted that he is able to include us in his visit to upstate New York. Mike has published extensively in the TAT journal. You can link to his articles below. I have decided to rent the Endicott Visitors Center to enable more people to attend in comfort. Unfortunately the rental fee for the afternoon is $220 (!), so we will have to slightly increase the usual fee to $15 for this event. Although we should not be cramped for space, it is still helpful if you would email me if you plan to attend.
We will begin as usual at 3 pm with an introduction to this powerful and effective approach to meditation. There will be ample opportunity for practice with feedback from Mike, so this workshop will be heavily experiential in nature. The Endicott Visitors Center is located at 300 Lincoln Ave in Endicott, in the park directly across the street from Union Endicott High School.

Mike Conners
Mike practiced meditation and self-inquiry for over thirty years before his search ended with Self-realization. He has taught Effortless Meditation to hundreds of students, and holds weekly meditation meetings in Cincinnati. He also appears in the spiritual documentary
Closer than Close. For samples of Mike's writing, see www.tatfoundation.org/forum_index.htm.
