Sunday March 29 we will meet at my office
at 46 Riverside Drive in Binghamton at 2 pm for 15 minutes of silent
meditation followed by a discussion and commentary on the beautiful
little book: Annamalai Swami: Final Talks (2006), edited by David Godman. Annamalai Swami was one of
the devoted disciples of Ramana Maharshi, and trained with him from 1928 until
Ramana's death in 1950. This book is a transcription of talks given by
Annamalai in the final 6 months of his life, ending in October 1995 at the age
of 89. In the book he responds to questions from students, and in the process
gives a very clear understanding of the perspective taught by Ramana to him. It
will be an interesting and helpful discussion for anyone interested in self-realization.
